Do you have a minimum order?

Yes. Our minimum order is $200. If you can't meet this minimum, a $25 Small Order Charge is added to your order. Example: If your order is $56, it is below our minimum; and therefore, a $25 charge is added for a total order amount of $81.

Are there quantity variations for custom-made products?

Yes. OEM customers should expect a quantity variation of up to +/10% of the quantity ordered.

What are Cadence's hours of operations?

Our phone lines are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). 

Do you ship outside the USA?

Yes. We ship worldwide.

Can orders be placed online?

We currently only offer the OLFA® products we distribute for online purchase - visit store.cadenceinc.com.

We will be adding the capability to purchase Endurium®, Optima®, and Cadence Science® brands soon.

Do you require a hard-copy order confirmation?

Order confirmation is required for telephone orders of custom-made items or large volume purchases. Verification can be done via fax or email.

Do you acknowledge orders?

Only when requested.

Will I know when my order shipped?

Yes. If you provide us with an e-mail address you will be automatically notified when your order ships.

What shipping carriers are used by Cadence?

Cadence uses FedEx and UPS as its primary carriers. We also ship other methods on an exception basis. Cadence uses only carriers that provide traceable 'proof of delivery'.

Can I have an order dropped shipped to another location?

Yes. 

What is required to establish credit terms?

Fill out our credit application. In general, bank and 3 trade references are required. Please ensure that you provide contact names, phone, fax and email addresses for all of your references to expedite processing. Establishing credit terms takes approximately 3-10 business days when all of the above has been furnished.

Do you sell direct or through distributors?

Cadence has worldwide distributors for the medical and laboratory markets. Users can purchase directly from Cadence if a distributor is not available, is not stocking our products or has not been responsive.

Where are Cadence products manufactured?

Most of our products are manufactured by Cadence in one of our facilities. Syringes are imported from Japan and Italy. Vomed luers are imported from our partner in Germany.

I am a diabetic, can I buy needles and syringes from you?

No. FDA regulations prohibit us from selling to individuals. You should consult with your doctor or pharmacist who can place the order for you.

I am incorporating a Cadence product into my design. Can I get an engineering drawing of the part?

Complete engineering drawings are proprietary to Cadence. However, we will be happy to furnish you with a drawing showing overall dimensions.

 

What is your sample policy?

Cadence is happy to provide samples of stocked products with a limit of $15. UPS ground shipping is included. If expedited shipping is required, we ask for your shipping account number or you can pay for expedited shipping with a major credit card. Requests for samples of custom items are subject to review by engineering.

Can products be mixed to receive the best available price?

Only assorted products, as listed in our price list, can be combined to achieve maximum discount. Mixing and matching between products groups (needles, syringes, luers) do not qualify for better pricing.

Can I become a Cadence distributor?

Cadence is very selective in appointing new distributors. If you wish to become a distributor of Cadence products, please contact mktg@cadenceinc.com for more information.

What is the cut-off for same-day shipping?

All orders received and approved by 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) can be shipped same-day.

How long are prices in effect?

For catalog products, prices are typically in effect from January 1 to December 31st of each year.  For custom products, our quoted pricing is valid for 30 days. Please note that we reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Will you accept an order by e-mail?

Yes. We accept email orders from established customers. New customers must be approved by our credit department. Credit orders from new customers are acceptable and are subject to email verification.

I ordered one each but didn't realize the product was packed by the dozen. Can I keep one and send the rest for credit?

No. If our standard packaging is one dozen, you must return the whole package (subject to restocking fee) and order the correct item.
